Hey Babies,
If I told you that I called my mother on the 1st day of my #PMHNP Post-Masters Certificate program to tell her that I was thinking of quitting, would you believe me? 🤔 Well... it’s true. I was overwhelmed. The classes were tough and I just didn’t think that I was going to make it. To date, I'm 2 semesters down and feeling hopeful. I can say that I'm excited again!! I can smile again. I've been able to exhale and now I’m ready to share some #tips and #tricks with you all. 💃🏾💃🏾 As promised, here are some of the tips and tricks that I have learned on my Post-Masters Certificate journey at Wilkes University. Tip 1: Make sure you join all of the Facebook Groups listed below: Wilkes PMHNP Wilkes PMHNP Spring 2021 Advanced Pathophys Advanced Pharm Advanced Health Assessment D.R. (Diagnostic Reasoning) PMHNP Psychopharmacology PMHNP Clinical Group Note: Some of these groups you may need to be FB friends with one of the group members to join. Tip 2: Click here to download this DropBox folder with a list of all the Psychiatry books you could dream of. Tip 3: Click here to view a sample video for Advanced Health Assessment Tip 4: For Advanced Pharm, look for Dr. D's weekly recaps. Know everything that is in written in bold or highlighted in color. Tip 5: Advanced Patho, look for the BANK in the Google drive folder that is posted in the group. Find the PowerPoints! Compare the PowerPoints to the bank and you will be successful. Or just know the Powerpoints inside and out. Tip 6: Click here to view a sample video for Advanced Health Assessment Tip 7: Advanced Health Assessment, there at two 30 min videos in the group. Find those videos and study them for exams 2 & 3. Exam two has about 72 questions. Tip 8: Diagnostic Reasoning, Study the weekly Lesson Plans from Fragnola for Exams 1 & 2.
